SKULL PORTRAIT SUBJECTS
Over the years there have been five distinct series of subjects, each exploring different faculties of identity:
1. Celebrity
2. Religious Figures
3. Espionage
4. Historical Subjects
5. Dynastic Families
Notably in November 2022, the Medici family portraits went on display at London's Saatchi gallery.
As part of the project, Patron tier collectors may elect to have their own Skull Portrait commissioned and immortalised on the blockchain. Resulting in a performance art piece, where at a time of their choosing they may reveal their own identity.
The Skull Portraits is the first generative art collection formed from real DNA.
The source material comprises real skull x-rays sourced or captured by the artist.
Significant and intimate records, frozen in time, immortalised on the blockchain.
