The Spiritual Teacher stands as the Sage, guiding souls beyond life's ephemeral concerns toward a greater truth. In Buddhism, such a Lama is a vehicle for wisdom, transcending ego and the cycle of birth and death. They are akin to the Tarot's Hierophant, a conduit between spiritual realms and mortal concerns, teaching us that the body − a transient skull wrapped in flesh − is only a vessel. Mythologically, this figure resembles the Buddha, radiating enlightenment and reminding us that all forms dissolve. Their teachings navigate the thin line between life and the beyond, grounded in simplicity and silence. Through their eyes, life and death are inseparable, mere phases of a continuous journey, an eternal mandala turning toward a greater mystery.
